A large attraction in the center of the region is the Salzburg Open-air Museum, which shows the agricultural and living traditions of the Salzburg countryside and will soon provide information about the natural resources within the Natura 2000 site.
An educational trail on the topic of "Butterflies and Haymeadows" and a display garden planted with haymeadow varieties at the museum will allow you to experience the uniqueness of the area firsthand. Further interesting information about the area and its unique species can be found as of early 2009 at the LIFE-Infopoint.
A special highlight is an excellent film that provides insight into the hidden secrets of the area. The film can be seen at the Salzburg Open-air Museum as of spring 2009.
